AUTOCRYPT Awarded ASPICE CL2 Certification for HSM Security Solution

AUTOCRYPT, a leading global automotive software and security solutions provider, announced that AutoCrypt HSM received the ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) CL2 certification.  

AutoCrypt HSM is a software module that integrates the hardware security module into the AUTOSAR environment. Equipped with Secure Boot for tampering prevention, key management, Over-the-Air (OTA) authentication, and encrypted communication protocols, it protects communications both in and out of the vehicle. AutoCrypt HSM supports a variety of ECU platforms including TRAVEO™ T2G, AURIX™ TC, RH850, and SPC58.

AUTOCRYPT Successfully Completes OmniAir V2X Security Testing

AUTOCRYPT, a global leader in vehicle automotive cybersecurity software, successfully completed a series of virtual C-V2X (Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything) interoperability tests, hosted by OmniAir Consortium®. During the virtual tests, AUTOCRYPT highlighted its technological capabilities and comprehensive IEEE 1609.2.1-based SCMS.  

AUTOCRYPT provided its V2X certificates to the device vendors for their SCMS test cases. Testing covered various SCMS bootstrapping-related categories including request and download of Certificate Trust List (CTL), Certificate Revocation List (CRL), Certificate Chain File (CCF), OBU and RSU certificates. As an SCMS vendor, AUTOCRYPT passed the test cases, showcasing a 100% success rate.

The month-long testing session allowed for C-V2X device manufacturers to test their devices for interoperability with V2X PKI/SCMS providers ahead of the upcoming OmniAir Florida Plugfest and Interoperability Testing in May, where providers will be available for interoperability testing on-site.

AUTOCRYPT Launches Security Fuzzer in Japan through Distributor Agreement with Hitachi Solutions

AUTOCRYPT, award-winning vehicle testing solutions provider, and Hitachi Solutions, Ltd., IT solutions provider, announced a distribution agreement, bringing AutoCrypt Security Fuzzer to the Japanese market starting January 22, 2025. This marks the first domestic availability of the globally recognized Security Fuzzer in Japan.  

This adds to the two companies’ existing partnership agreement, as AUTOCRYPT currently offers its V2X security solution with the option of integrating its security library with Hitachi Solution’s Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Middleware Platform. The new agreement continues to align with Hitachi Solutions’ commitment to delivering advanced cybersecurity tools, as well as AUTOCRYPT’s expertise in developing cutting-edge, optimized testing technologies to the automotive industry.  

AutoCrypt Security Fuzzer was designed specifically for in-vehicle software development and testing, and boasts automated test case generation, generating over one million test cases based on ISO 14229-1:2020, supporting all 26 Service Identifiers (SIDs) defined in the Unified Diagnostic Service (UDS) protocol). AutoCrypt Security Fuzzer also provides continuous automated execution for individual ECUs or integrated systems, optimizing the testing process. Users receive comprehensive key test results, with summaries and visualizations of major outcomes, enabling developers to quickly review and re-execute to address detected vulnerabilities.

Anritsu and AUTOCRYPT Sign MOU at CES 2025 to Advance Automotive Security Testing(CSTP) through Simulated 5G Networks

LAS VEGAS, JANUARY 8, 2025. – AUTOCRYPT, an industry-leading vehicle cybersecurity provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Anritsu, a pioneer in communications test and measurement solutions. The agreement, formally announced at CES 2025, underscores a shared commitment to advance security testing methodologies for vehicles worldwide.The collaboration will integrate AUTOCRYPT’s award-winning Cybersecurity Testing Platform (CSTP) with Anritsu’s Radio Communication Test Station MT8000A, which provides a simulated 5G network environment.
